You're drifting... Drifting in the sea... The cold water envelopes you. You feel the currents pull you side to side as you begin to sink.

Salt stings your eyes. Is it because of the ocean or because you are crying? Are you crying?

I'm not crying
I'm crying
Drowning
You're very brave. I'm sure you know that, but I wanted to tell you. Don't even let anyone tell you otherwise.\n\nNo matter how brave you are, though, it doesn't change the truth. You're sinking deeper and deeper.\n\nIt's so cold that your body grows numb. Soon, the cold ceases to matter.\n\nYou could struggle. You could open your eyes in the salty deep and look around you. You could even give up. What do you want to do?\n\n[[Struggle]]\n[[Open Eyes]]\n[[Give Up]]
The darkness fades and you are surrounded by a green meadow. The smells of dew and flowers are carried by a soft breeze. The sun is just beginning to rise over a distant hill, its golden light stretching across the meadow and casting away what little darkness remains.\n\nYou hear a voice calling out behind you. The voice calls out your name. You turn around to see a smiling face drawing ever nearer and you can't help but smile as well.\n\nThe dream is drawing to a close, the curtains of darkness returning, and as it does you hear the faint sound of joyful laughter.\n\n[[There is nothing now...]]
An indechipherable blur of color, sound, and smell surrounds you. As you notice some of these things, certain feelings are roused from deep sleep. For some reason, some of them bring you to tears. Others fill your heart with joy that cannot be described.\n\nWhen the dream ends, the only thing you feel is the wish that it could have lasted just a bit longer...\n\n[[There is nothing now...]]
There is no light. There is no darkness.\n\nThere is no sound, but there is no silence either.\n\nThere is no joy nor sorrow.\n\nThere is no one you hate in this place. There is no one that you love.\n\nThere is nothing. True, absolute nothing.\n\nThat is the place you've reached. You don't exist here either.\n\nAll things come to an end, even people.\n\nYour story is over, and that's okay, because there are billions more stories to be told.\n\nYou've reached your destination.\n\nGoodbye...
You're drifting... Drifting in the sea... The cold water envelopes you. You feel the currents pull you side to side as you begin to sink.\n\nSalt stings your eyes. Is it because of the ocean or because you are crying? Are you crying?\n\n[[I'm not crying]]\n[[I'm crying]]
The darkness lifts but only a bit. Just enough for you to see the long, wooden casket in front of you. You're wearing your nicest clothes and trying to be strong, but you can't. Tears stain your cheeks and no words will comfort you.\n\nThe casket is slowly lowered into the ground. The person you cared about more than anyone is gone forever. This truth sinks in as dirt fills the grave. You fall to your knees, sobs forcing their way out from between your lips. You can't stop crying, not matter how hard you try, and the sound of your own crying is the last thing you hear as the dream ends.\n\n[[There is nothing now...]]
You struggle, but your hands are bound. Your ankles are bound, too. However, your body is far too numb to tell what you're bound with. It doesn't even hurt. You don't even feel cold anymore, nor do you feel afraid.\n\nYou are so very tired. Too tired to be afraid.\n\n[[Continue...]]
The darkness is so thick that it's like a shroud.\n\nIt is so very lonely.\n\nSomething moves in the darkness. The unseen creature cuts circles around you, and the water toys with you like a doll, pulling you side to side.\n\nImages of what the creature might look like float, like bubbles, to the surface of your mind. Row after row of dagger teeth. Fins with elegant curves. Dead, soulless eyes.\n\nA moment of fear comes over you. Only a moment.\n\nYou are so very tired. Too tired to be afraid.\n\nYou feel the creature swim away.\n\n[[Continue...]]
It's okay if you are. No matter what anyone says, if you feel like crying it's okay to cry. Besides, nobody could even tell right now.\n\nAfter all, you're sinking.\n\nIt's so cold that your body grows numb. Soon, the cold ceases to matter.\n\nYou could struggle. You could open your eyes in the salty deep and look around you. You could even give up.\n\nWhat do you want to do?\n\n[[Struggle]]\n[[Open Eyes]]\n[[Give Up]]

A heavy fog begins to obscure your mind. Every thought seems to chug along at a sluggish pace. All sense of time vanishes.\n\nPerhaps you've been sinking for hours. It could be you've only been here a minute or two. Maybe you've always been here. Life outside this cold, dark place... Perhaps it is nothing more than a memory of a dream...\n\nWas it a happy dream, do you think?\n\n[[It was happy...]]\n\n[[It was sad...]]\n\n[[I don't remember...]]
It's okay to give up. I'm sure it was hard... Life is full of struggle and suffering, and I'm sure that it was very hard for you... That's why it's okay to give up and let gravity pull you further and further down into the cold darkness.\n\n[[Continue...]]
